Hello LUCY lovers! 

The Christmas lights are down (boo!), the weather has gotten colder (double boo!), and the longer, darker days are just screaming at us all to curl up warm and hibernate until the spring – but that’s no reason not to splurge on a little treat now and then to boost your mood! We’ve got some winter-warming wonders for you to keep tucked away for a rainy day, or for whenever the winter strikes. 

Here’s what we’re loving for January. 

Luscious lovely locks 

Our new brand Lorvenn is the hidden secret to combatting the dry ends and moisture-sucking humidity of this time of the year. As the weather chills, it’s likely that your poor hair will bear the brunt of it, especially with all those blisteringly hot showers that you’ll be taking. 

Softer skin and moisture-boosting skincare 

The winds of January are harsh and cold, and your face is constantly exposed to them every time you leave the house. Add in the occasional blast of hot air from the heater, and you’ll find that your skin might feel a little dry and rough to the touch, and that it’s hard to drink enough water to combat the effects of winter.

If you already have a skincare routine you love, and you don’t want to change it all up, we recommend just adding a single product: this incredibly gooey La Cure Beauté Royal Jelly Face Cream, formulated with anti-oxidant powerhouse royal jelly, which also works to gently exfoliate your face. Pantone’s colour of the year is out, and it’s the gorgeous, chocolatey neutral of our dreams – so naturally, we had to put it on our nails as soon as we could! The Anny Nail Polish in Earthquake is a near perfect match for Mocha Mousse, and it’s what we’re recommending for anyone who’s looking for a new manicure. Not a fan of browns? Neutrals and cold metallic shades are also super popular at the moment, from almost-white lilac to a stunning holographic black.
