Just as claimed, this eyeliner is intense black and matte. I have been trying multiple liquid eyeliners and this is the best so far. The wand is easy to handle and the tip is of the right consistency to manage a perfect line. It is even perfect to draw a cat eye liner. Definitely a staple in my makeup collection and a repurchase for sure.
