Makeup tends to go glittery and glossy during spring, and this year is no exception: from high-glass skin to my-skin-but-shiny eyeshadow, glitz is still on the cards but it’s taking a softer, sophisticated approach. Think glassy highlight on your cheeks, minimal foundation, and the shiniest lipgloss you can grab, for an all-over radiant glow that gives anything from pearl to outerspace shine. Pait it with a holochrome nail look and some simple silver accessories and you’re ready to rock it.

This trend leans hard on the leading ladies of 90s thriller movies, with a little extra dash of sophistication from the deeper grunge leanings - think smoked-out eyeliner and soft-focus lips with a deeper lipliner, and a lot of velvety matte. This look is all about messy and minimal and it’s a super forgiving look to emulate, no matter where your makeup prowess lies. All you need is to focus on neutrals and bringing your best bad self to the surface: easy peasy!
